Montepulciano d’Abruzzo ‘Bucaro’ DOC


Carlo Volpi has unleashed a lusciously flavoursome barrique-aged red wine which skilfully combines weighty flavour and distinct sophistication. The fruit is ripe and deep, the oaking deft and sensitive, and the overall impact harmonious and memorable. Carlo used specially selected grapes, aged the wine for a year in new oak and then allowed it to age in bottle for 2 years before release. We can only thank him for his hard work – the result is a delight.
