Our cosy dining and tap rooms offer a limited amount of tables so reservations for lunch are strongly advisable, although we do hold a handful of tables for the occasional walk in. On Friday and Saturday evenings reservations are essential in the dining room and recommended in the tap room where we offer you the chance to reserve a table for drinks as well as for dinner.


We require a deposit for all table reservations. These are nonrefundable deposits. We can however transfer your deposit to another date (within a 4 week period) if you are unable to attend, just as long as we receive a minimum of 24 hours notice. All transfer requests must me made by emailing amend@TheOwlLeeds.co.uk.

Dietary advice

We are unable to adapt any of our dishes for allergies, intolerances or preferences. We provide information about the dietary content of our dishes, (here is a sample menu), but please contact us for up to date menu content before visiting us and for further information and clarification.


We are a cashless business at The Owl, so please make are that you bring your wallet/purse with you when you visit. We have chosen to be cash free primarily as a security measure, but also for a faster service and smoother experience for our guests.

Evening Access

We are very excited to be one of the very first businesses to be able to offer a night time experience in the beautiful and atmospheric Kirkgate Market. To allow this unusual access inside the building, whilst maintaining fire and safety measures, we require guests to reserve tables with us, even if just joining for drinks and to be met at the market doors and escorted to our little pub on Fish & Game Row.
